Studies & Teaching
At the Institute of Classical and Byzantine Archaeology, you can study archaeology across a spectrum ranging from the Minoan Bronze Age to medieval Byzantium. Our curriculum provides you with knowledge spanning everything from working directly with source material to practical experience in the field, museums, and digital archaeology, while introducing you to various scholarly methods. With its broad academic scope in teaching and research, and its proximity to other disciplines in the study of antiquity, most of which are housed in the same building, the Institute offers an ideal platform for a successful and comprehensive archaeological education.
Students of Classical Archaeology and Byzantine Archaeology and Art History will find all relevant information here.
